G. Kent Kahle

Managing Director

Kent is a co-founder of GulfStar and has more than 35 years of investment banking experience, having successfully managed in excess of 150 M&A and financing transactions in a variety of industries. Prior to 1990, he was a Senior Vice President and Director of Rotan Mosle Inc. (1982 to 1990) and Manager of Investor Relations at Geosource Inc., an NYSE oil services company (1977 to 1980). Previously, Kent worked in the President Ford Administration as a Special Assistant to the Secretary of Commerce, the Secretary of the Interior and the Counselor to the President (1975 to 1977). Kent has also served on more than 15 public and private company boards in the energy, industrial, healthcare, environmental, financial, consumer and nonprofit sectors.
