Jacob joined GulfStar Group in 2026 from Intrepid Financial Partners, an energy-focused merchant bank, where he worked as an Investment Banking Analyst focusing on sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions. Prior to joining full-time, Jacob completed a summer internship with Intrepid and held several public service internships, including roles with members of the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate.

Jacob earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, with a minor in History, from Southern Methodist University. While at SMU, he was a member of the EnCap Investments & LCM Group Alternative Asset Management Center Program.
