Parsons E&C Corporation (“PEC”) is an engineering and construction firm that provides services primarily to the oil and gas, refining, chemical and petrochemical, and power industries. The company has designed and constructed more than 250 gas processing plants, 600 chemical and petrochemical projects, and 370 power plants worldwide. It is a top designer and builder of modular facilities for refineries and process plants in remote areas and harsh environments. PEC’s services also include procurement and project management. GulfStar provided financial advisory services to the Board of Directors of PEC with regard to the proposed sale of the company to Australian-based Worley Group for $245.0 million.
